Taylor GS Grand Symphony Fall Limited Cocobolo Acoustic Electric

This is a really lovely Taylor Fall Limited Edition GS (Grand Symphony) Cocobolo. The Cocobolo back and sides are just gorgeous. The redish color and swirling, bold grain is complimented with Koa binding and mini-wedge on the back and abalone inlay work. This guitar looks and plays great. The sound is really huge and deep. It sounds as rich as it looks. 

This is a used item and it does show some signs of wear. Nothing as much as on the side of the neck though, where the previous owner has worn down the areas around the side position markers. It also looks like a dot of marker has been added to emphasize these position markers. This doesn’t affect the playability at all and the rest of the guitar is so remarkable I didn’t notice immediately. Aside from this the rest of the guitar is in remarkably good shape. I’m not certain the brass bridge pins are original. The case also has been decorated with some non-original paint and artifacts and the combination lock latch is broken. The inside of the case is still really nice and the crushed velvet is in good shape. The little pillow for the headstock is still in there too. 

With a bold voice and tone, the Koa GS Limited features exquisite, shimmering Hawaiian koa back and sides, and a mini back-wedge and binding of rich, exotic cocobolo. On a Cocobolo GS Limited, the woods are reversed, with swirling red-figured cocobolo forming the back and sides, and visual accents provided by a koa mini-wedge and koa binding. Non-cutaway Koa GS Limited and Cocobolo GS Limiteds are also available.
