For your consideration, we have the Legend of Zelda Authentic Nintendo NES Game (1987 edition). This is an authentic copy with 3 screws and a gray seal. This is not a star tab copy. Unfortunately, we are missing the map. It does, however, include the box, manual, foam, and cart with black Nintendo sleeve. The box for the most part looks great. The main damage is one tab is missing/ripped off (see photos). There is also a slight tear in the side of the top flap and wear under the word Legend on the top flap. The cartridge looks great. There are black spots where the gold has worn on the back bottom corners. There is at least one hairline scratch in the back caution label. The gold is slightly worn around the thumb grip on both sides.
The Legend of Zelda series contains a clear objective. To generally save Princess Zelda from the evil Ganon, and restore peace to the world of Hyrule. The Legend of Zelda is an action packed adventure game that follows the iconic hero named Link. Made for the first Nintendo Entertainment System, this classic video game certainly gained cult status. Due to its open fantastical world of Hyrule, the kingdom that Princess Zelda is in charge of and that Link must save. Players must complete nine dungeon mazes to win the game. Each dungeon is filled with evil creatures and beasts sent from the main villain, Ganon. Link, the hero, can equip weapons he finds and enough game play can unlock upgrades to his weaponry.
This game is rated E for Everyone. One of the most popular games for the NES, and also the first entry in the Zelda franchise. The original NES Zelda is always in high demand across all grades and types. With high-grade early print sealed copies routinely selling for mid six-figure prices, it’s a wonder that moderately priced sealed copies and CIBs still exist today.
This Legend of Zelda Authentic Nintendo game would be a perfect fit to any collection!
