This V20* BRUSHLESS RP™ Cordless 1/2-in. Hammer Drill provides more runtime. In addition to better performance for your demanding jobs. It features a high performance motor allowing the user to efficiently drill through masonry. With you in mind, this unit features a LED light to help with visibility in low light work surfaces. The Craftsman RP CMCD732 replaces the CMCD731 and adds updated branding and packaging. The speeds on the Craftsman RP hammer drill remain at 0-600 RPM or 0-1900 RPM. Hence, dropping 100 RPM off the top speed of the CMCD721 brushless hammer drill. Craftsman still continues to offer the same excellent 1/2-inch metal ratcheting chuck. These offer improved bit retention and you end up dropping fewer drill bits as a result of the chuck accidentally opening up on you. The tool features up to 26% more runtime compared to CRAFTSMAN brushed drill CMCD700 using a CMCB202 (sold separately). There is a 1/2 inch ratcheting chuck, for improved bit retention and easy bit changes. You can also use the clips (sold separately) to hang this tool directly on the VERSATRACK™ Wall Organization System (sold separately). This box includes the CMCD732 Hammer Drill (1), but the battery and charger are sold separately. The maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts, whereas nominal voltage is 18.
